Meet Our Doctor

Jessica Zink, DVM

  • Dr. Jessica Zink, like many veterinarians, always knew she was going to be a veterinarian. She was born in Wichita, KS but has lived in Tulsa for most of her life. She graduated with her bachelors of science from Rogers State University and then attended Oklahoma State University for veterinary school.

She loves surgery in particular and has worked diligently to perfect her skills in soft tissue surgery (she loves and has a great deal of experience with more complicated surgeries such as perineal urethrostomies, episio/vulvaplasties, and BOAS surgeries for brachycephalic breeds including soft palate correction, stenotic nare enlargement, laryngeal saccule excision and tonsil excision) but also loves abdominal exploratories, etc. Aside from surgery, she also really enjoys the lasting relationships developed through general medicine and preventative care with her patients and clients.

In the Spring of 2023 she became Fear Free certified but had been utilizing similar practices for years for the comfort and safety of her patients. She opened STVH in July 2023 and is really excited for this new chapter. She is married to her husband, Joe, who is a Tulsa native and can often be found "behind the scenes" at the hospital. In the fall, he enjoys coaching football at Bishop Kelley high school. They share two daughters, Evie and Lenni, and they have a little dog named Hokey Pokey and a new little rescue named Winnie, who can both also be seen running around the hospital from time to time.
